"David" called asking if I had received my call or postal notification of my winnings.

This company called stating that I won the mega million. In order to receive this money, I was to go to the nearest Western Union, pay $190 and send money to Alice Bridges in South Carolina, get my receipt and call him back. Once I have the receipt and call back, a check and a Mercedes would be delievered to my home by 1pm CST. The phone number does not register in your BBB phone records.

Scammer claiming to be Steve Rogers compliance manager called saying I won Mega Millions. Said he got her name from utility company of people who pay bill regularly.

I received a call stating I had won the Mega Millions. 18.5 Million and a car. They would pay all but 1% of the taxes and that I would need to wire $350.98. I hung up.

- Dayton, OH, USA

Offered 3.5 million & new car. Wanted 400.00 in taxes.

My husband was targeted yet again with another SCAM saying he won 2.5 million dollars plus a 2017E CLASS 300 Sedan MERCEDES BENZ. We got extra information for you by asking that they send us an email because we thought they were a SCAM. But they were, "oh no sir, why would we scam you we are from Mega Millions out of Las Vegas, NV. BUT we never entered hint #1, plus when we got the email it has everything on there except "Mega Million" such as the following: AMERICAN CASH AWARD SWEEPSTAKES & LOTTERY INC., and AMERICA SENIOR CITIZENS SWEEPSTAKES which we never heard of. No "Mega Million" mentioned in the email at all.

Rick Williams from Mega Millions, offered a check for 5 million dollars and cash $500,000.00 also a new 2017 s class mercedes. Asked if I wanted the news media informed and I told them no I wanted it to be private. He said they would deliver the check, cash and car to my residence the following day by 11am, all I needed to do is go to Walmart and get a money gram for $100.00 for registration fee and send to them by 9am in the morning and then they would deliver everything by 11am. Also said I would get a ATM card for $1,000.00 a month for gas and insurance on the car would be paid for 10 years through Allstate. Said the car would be delivered on a flat bed trailer and wanted to know if I were an American. The package #0102154215 was given to me and the winning number was 29. Said they would go to the bank with me to deposit the check and cash. Said the winnings were tax free.

Caller gave a name but couldn't make it out. He said I had won $460,000 and said something about another $2.5 million. The message continued that I should call 312-912-7040(Illinois area code) to claim my prize.

The message was left on my answering machine 3/18/2017.

Some guy named David Summers called from a "no caller id"number telling me I won 2.5M. That the certified check would be delivered this afternoon by UPS. I only had to send a Walmart to Walmart Payment in the amount of $255.00 (registration fee) to Paul Koeuth in Dallas, TX 75243. The receipt provided by Walmart is the "claim receipt" required for UPS to deliver the check. When I requested proof, he simply noted that he need to prepare all the documentation to "email" it to me. The caller never addressed me by name, requested address or email address.

Everyday man w/Indian accent calls to say I won cash & a car if I wire him money or give him my credit card info, I keep telling him to quit calling me but he won't.

- Madison, WI, USA

Repeatedly called me. I think he was trying to get me to say, "Yes." Claimed I had won a bunch of stuff. I told him that he needed to send me a certified letter if that was the case. Just kept giving me B.S. info like his name and "badge number" and some fake website.

I finally blocked the phone number to keep him from calling back. However, he did manage to read off the phone number that he was using as a fake one and repeatedly called from the same number. I could hear a rooster in the background of the call, so I seriously doubt he was calling from a legitimate business.

- Aiea, HI, USA

Received a call twice from the above number (9:07am & 11:27am). First call was from Mega Millions and was told that I won a prize. Told him thank you and hung up. Second call told me that I won a prize for shopping at Macy's, Walgreens (and other retailers) where I use a credit or debit card. Told me to write down these numbers:

Prize package number: 2017US

Serial Number: 1000680

Then, asked me to repeat the numbers and then I said goodbye (after telling him I know this is a scam).

- Clarksville, AR, USA

I got a phone call from a man saying I had won second prize in the Mega Millions. All I needed was my drivers license and to fill out a form since it was over $10,000 to take to the bank to prove I was not "money laundering". " You have to purchase this form for $300 to take to your bank to cash our check". After taking to both him and his supervisor I knew it to be a SCAM so I hung up.

A man with a foreign accent called repeatedly . Said he had 4 million dollars and all you have to do is meet him at your personal home and give him 400.00 daollars. I called the number back and he said he was with Mega Millions and the 400.00 was for handling charges. Told him I was reporting him to the ScamPulse.com and he said go ahead Im legit.

They called today informing my mother that she had won 1.5 million and 5,000 a month for life.It was a Megamillions lottery ticket that was unclaimed. They then requested we go to Kroger to send them 199.00 dollars for a claim ticket. They claim they were recoreded by the Federal trad commision. I am under the impression that a lottery will not ask for money. They claimed we would get said money back. They also claimed they could send someone to our home after we give them money. They claim they have someone that will go with you to the bank.

They called me from a number that showed Jamaica on the caller id. They informed me that I had won $950,000 because I had used a credit card which entered me in the contest. They said I would have to call them back. I never did and they called again the next day. This time is was a lady, once again with a Jamaican accent, and she said I had won $9.5 million and I would need to pay the taxes and fees to receive the check. She said If I didn't pay it they would give it to a charity. I told them that was fine. Once again they called me today and said it was $950,000 and that I would need to pay $800 for a stamp of government approval and a stamp of ownership and told me to call him back at this number 702-789-1619. I told him I didn't have any money and my credit cards were maxed out. He asked me what my cash advance limit was on my card and that they could pay it off so that I could get a cash advance out. He wanted to call my credit card company and then call him back. He eventually called back and said so I guess you are not interested. I said no not if I have to pay to get the money. He then hung up.

In June 2016 this scam called my mother telling her she won $450,000. She paid insurance money of $600 in August 2016. They claim the award would expire on 08-26-16. She did not receive the money I called them and they said we needed to pay for storage, but I don't remember this amount, I think it was around $800. On 09-23-16 I paid another $800 to have this money switched to my name. All this money was wire transferred to them. After i paid this amount they said they would deliver the prize that day between the hours of 9AM and 11AM on 09-24-16. I have been talking to Frank Miller who originally told us we needed to pay $2500 and they would get us a sponsor. The insurance money went to a person named Betty who lives in New York.

The ID number, security code is GOV0777.

David Moore called me saying I had won 5.5 million dollars and a new Mercedes. I told him I would not pay any up front money to collect the prize. He called back and said he found a sponsor who would provide 418,000.00 for the registration fee. He asked me to open a new savings account so they could transfer the $18,000.00 to my new account. I also told him that I had not bought a Megamillions lottery ticket. He said the was bought for me by Walmart pharmacy as part of a promotion. For some reason the registration is necessary before they can deliver the prize in person somewhat like Publishers Clearing House does. He also mentioned the IRS needing the registration to ensure that taxes would be paid.

This 90 year old woman was called by a person named "Frank" from phone number (185) 515-0459 - a non working number, and told she had won a new car and millions of dollars which they wished to bring to her home today. They would be bringing champagne, etc. to celebrate her win. The lottery she had "won" was supposedly the MegaMillions - for which she never purchased a lottery ticket.

- Nobleboro, ME, USA

I received a call from a Rep. from *** ** ***. They told me that I had won 2 million from Mega Millions Sweepstakes.

Their equipment was hacked last month and that is why it wasn't sent to you. They are trying to deposit it into my account today. But before they can do that they need me to send them 2500.00 to process it. He told me to call a *** *** * *** to get the details. I called him and he said it was actually for 2.5 million. Told him I wasn't interested and ended the call.
