MeetCurve Reports & Reviews (91)

Product arrives a bit slowly but generally fine and as shown. Sizing and fit are a little funky and if you want to return anything, FORGET IT. They respond to your email asking for authorization, offer you a coupon, and then never respond to you again. I have emailed them over 10 times and not received a single response, I am within their return policy as documented on their website. Ignoring customers and not following a published policy is FRAUD. DO NOT do it. What frustrates me the post is that as a curvy woman finding swim is difficult, so to find affordable options that are stylish was exciting. To follow with such a poor experience feels like an extra assault on an under served population of shoppers.

Terrible customer service! Sizes are all wrong. If you do order DO NOT throw away the plastic bag each item is in as they will not let you return, even if the tags are still on the items. VERY sketchy company!

From the moment I placed my order, this experience has been a catastrophe. I never got a confirmation email but did take a screenshot of the order number. When I tried to find customer support, I realized the company was based out of China & that the sizes I bought would have fit me in American sizing but definitely not Chinese pet past experiences with Shein. I contacted customer support about tracking info & getting a confirmation email of my order. I got the tracking info but only after filing a PayPal claim that items weren’t received (note - don’t select that option as they’ll simply close the case if the company gives them a tracking number, lesson learned.) I emailed them again to cancel my order entirely as it hadn’t shipped & radio silence. I received the order yesterday & one of the suits was definitely worn & returned as the hygienic sticker was crumpled & not sticky against the fabric. I reached out to customer service this morning & heard back a bit ago that they want pictures of the problem. At this point, I don’t even want the stuff anymore - what picture is that?! Attempting to contact PayPal again tomorrow to reopen the case &, if not, I guess I’ll have to see what my bank can do. BUYER BEWARE

Wish I had read the reviews before ordering from this company as it would most certainly would have swayed me to purchase from someone more reputable. Almost everything I buy these days is online, from groceries to furniture to clothing. I very rarely choose to return an item but should it not meet my expectations, or in this case not fit, then I expect the company to stand by their product and policies and make it right. Well forget that naive notion with these guys. They make it as difficult as possible to return merchandise. In fact, I'm not sure it IS possible to return an item... a pretty poor policy when it involves something as personal as a swimsuit!

Anyway, after multiple emails just trying to get a stupid address to return the items to, and getting nothing but the run around I finally gave up. I decided they are not worth my time, and have chalked the whole experience up to a lesson learned.

I would NOT recommend buying from this company. Use someone you can trust.

I am having the same issue. I tried to exchange a suit for a different size well till you pay to return it and all the struggles to just get the return address and then pay to have the exchange sent it ended up costing more than the suit it's self. Now after all the run around they tell me that the suit I want is out of stock. I finally just told them to cancel my exchange and refund my money. We'll see how long that takes. I'm very frustrated with this whole process.

Exactly what everyone else is saying - suot didn't fit, run around for return. All kinds of bad vibes when I saw Trista is helping me and the profile picture. Their email address alone (received message) is weird. Jumping through hoops to return item. I think I'll keep after reading all these.
The one thing I wanted to comment about it the return address I was given:
24823 Brookville Blvd ROSEDALE NY 11422 USA
I googled it to see if it is a place. It has a 1 star rating. I started to read the reviews... they all sound like the reviews for here, but for different online sales websites!
I will keep the suit and try to consign it instead. Buyer beware!

I just looked up the address on google earth and it looks like an area where serial killers go to dump bodies ? across the street from the prime body dump location is a warehouse with a little sign that reads “JS International Logistics”. So, my guess is that it’s a warehouse/shipping service that caters to all of those Chinese drop shipping sites that have flooded the internet. They probably contract out with them to be able to have a US location for return shipping and then they use the logistics company to mass ship everything back to China for much less than it’d cost using regular mail.

I never have had much luck with those Chinese stores. With the exception of shein. I order from them all the time. But most of the others are so scammy and not worth the hassle

Ugh.

Website said free shipping in Canada after $69. Upon paying I realized I was being charged $30 for shipping. The only reason I bought the second bathing suit was to get the free shipping. Now I'm receiving an additional email that I have to pay duties for import fees? Another $40? That's $70 of my hard earned cash going to shipping and duties.

Such a rip off! I did not sign up for all these extra charges. Reported to PayPal and my bank as a scam!

+16

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! i have been trying to get a return label to return a unused-ill-fitting swimsuit. I have never dealt with such poor costumer service. They purposely do not provide a return label. They do not respond until a day later. They set this odd refund policy and make it impossible to return. They try their best to not give you a refund! ADVOID AT ALL COST. You can get the same suit from swimsuit for all.

+20

I will first start off with saying I ordered two swimsuits and one swimsuit is fine. However, the other suit is extremely see-through. You can see the bra built into it while dry so while wet it would be awful. It looks awful. They only give you 7 days to return something. You have to email their customer service. They take a whole day to respond each time. I was told the swimsuit is suppose to be see-through so they would not issue a refund, however, they would give me $5 coupon and I still would return it without shipping paid for. This is a big time scam to me. They did not advertise that it would be see-through and it looks awful so why would it be made to be? If you advertise on your website that the return process is easy, yet it is not and they will not refund you, that’s a scam to me. I will never be ordering from this company again. I told them to keep their $5 coupon.

+11

Lmao, who would willingly buy a see through swim suit? Sorry you had a bad experience but I appreciate you sharing your feedback because it saved me!

Do not use this company. Ordered 3 bathing suits on 4/10, did not receive them until 4/30. Communication with the company was vague and not helpful. Once received, the material/make are of satisfactory quality, but the return process is null and void. When one follows the steps on the website, you receive a number in an email, saying "a ticket has been created." This has no other information, no instructions, no return address, nothing, so you are at a loss with what to do, yet know that the clock is ticking on the 15 day return window that their website states. One of my bathing suits had the tag unattached, with the small plastic attachment on the tag itself, but this was not attached to the bathing suit. After 4-5 emails to the company requesting information for how to return the items and get a refund, I finally receive an email and in the text (even though I provided a picture of the bathing suit and unattached tag), it says it will not refund for items without original tag (loop hole for not refunding client!) and it now says items need to be returned in 7 days (another loop hole/made up technicality), that a refunded will be minus the shipping from the original shipment (which was free for me, so why should I pay for it now, when I'm paying to ship it back!), and that they won't give me the return address until I share why these items won't work. I will be racking this up as a $100 learning experience. A total scam. Awful. I will be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau for a record.

Crap. I started having a bad feeling about my order this week. I placed the order on April 25. The tracking on a weird website called 17Track says it is in transit. I plugged the tracking number into the UPS website instead and all week it has said simply “label created; have not received package yet.”

Earlier this year I ordered a custom bracelet thru an Etsy seller in China and the tracking did the same thing for about 2-3 weeks before it finally showed up in the US and then it was quickly at my doorstep. That purchase was okay.

I am very hopeful that my 2 swimsuits actually fit and look good. These reviews scare me that I may not even receive anything. Also know that I won’t get any refund so I guess I won’t even bother with it if they don’t fit. Which will suck because I still want swimsuits for this summer and these were really cute. I’ll try to come back to update.

+14

Received the 2 swimsuits today. The pink and black one fit me great (XL). I will play around with the blue one (also XL) and see if it will get more snug. It feels looser and the chest is much bigger than I am. I *think* my mom may be able to wear it if she needs one and I decide it is too loose for me when it is wet. I really wanted it to fit me nicely because I like the swim dress design. See pictures.

I’m feeling fairly lucky that one fits great and the other one may work out for me or for my mom.

Just saw from the tracking that the package is at a shipping facility in NY. So it is on the way. I placed the order on April 25 and it looks like it arrived in the US on May 3.

Ladies, please DO NOT buy from this company. I personally, in my personal opinion, believe this company is possibly a SCAM and fraudulent company. As a disclosure, I cannot prove anything. But, because of my bad experience and loss of money with this company and their games when it comes to returning an unneeded item, that was bought, it sure looks that way to me.

This post is going to be long. Please read through it all if you can because I wrote this in hopes it will help others not be victimized when it comes to you possibly having to return an item from these people with hopes of getting your money back when that may not happen.

I want to share my awful experience as a now EX CUSTOMER of this company. Never again will I EVER EVER buy from this clearly, in my personal opinion, fraudulent company again. Here is my story. But, before I share what I am about to share with you ladies, first of all, I want to say that I hope this helps you ladies that are thinking of buying from Meet.Curve from becoming a victim to their scam games as I have become. >:(
:(

Here is my story...So, I recently bought some swimsuits from Meet.Curve.com on March 29,2021 and then I got my items in the mail not too long afterwards. I want to say it was about 2 weeks until I got the items that I ordered. Prior to my purchase with this company, I found a swimsuit that I really liked. Considering the fact that I was nervous as it is, buying online and not knowing how these swimsuits that this company sells would really fit my body, I decided to buy 4 swimsuits, in two different sizes, which was a 3XL and 4XL. My honest intentions were basically this... if one size did not fit me right, or I was not happy with the items that I bought, I had every honest intention that I ultimately would send the size(s) back that did not fit me right and keep the size that did fit me right that was already paid for. Fair enough. Right!

Also, considering that a lot of stuff sold online is not really made in AMERICAN sizes, that are actually TRUE IN SIZE, but pretty much made in non-American sizes, I thus, to give me a better piece of mind, usually buy two different sizes that are close to my size, that I wear. Again, what does not fit me right, that I buy online, I always send those items back for a refund. I hope that makes sense to you all. At least it does for me. Because again, IT IS very nerve wracking for me, ordering online. You just never know. Sorry for any run on sentences or repeated anything I say. I am just really upset and angry right now at what happened to me and writing for me, has never been easy for me, to get perfect for whatever reason so I hope you all can understand that reads this. :(

Okay, so back to my upset here. Anyway, when I got the swimwear, unfortunately the swimwear from this disgusting company DID NOT fit well to my body. So, because of this reason, I decided to contact Meet.Curve, to explain that I needed to return the products that I bought from them, in hopes that I would get a refund back. Well, everybody, guess what! I literally never got a refund back! I am devastated and sickened inside to say the least. The $143.96 I spent; is money I will never get back. Even though mind you all that I honestly sent the products back that I originally bought from these [censored].

I even have a tracking number to prove with proof that I and my husband sent their products back. What is also infuriating and disgusting, is that, Meet.Curve is accusing me now that I had the swimwear sent to an address that is NOT even the address, that they gave me, to send the returns back to. That is hilarious to me, because, I know for A FACT, that when the items I intended to return, were sent out, via UPS (the carrier I chose to use), that both I and my husband both indeed gave UPS the actual address that Meet.Curve gave me to return their items back. Furthermore, again, my husband was with me when we sent the items off. We both saw UPS package the items into a box and even put the packaging slip on it. With the correct package. Prior to taking the items to UPS, I even COPY AND PASTED AND PRINTED OUT the address that Meet.Curve gave me, so I would have that address in clear printed out writing via by my computer to give to UPS. Ladies, I am NOT making this up. I am an extremely honest person. I would never ever do a business wrong, or for that matter, I would never ever buy an item and not fully return, it if it were not right for me, after receiving the item.

After a few days of the package getting sent back, I checked the tracking number and I find out that UPS somehow sent the package to an unknown location that I or my husband is even unaware of. It is a location that we never even heard of or know of for that matter. We literally DO NOT personally know anybody or of any businesses from this particular location, that the returns were apparently delivered to. All it says on the tracking number is the city that UPS decided to send it to. There is no actual address name or number, in the tracking info, that it was delivered to. It just on the tracking number says the city it was delivered to. Again, it is NOT even the correct state and address we had put on the package. I or my husband both have NO IDEA what happened. Why UPS would send it to a city that we did not request the returns to go to is beyond us. Point being ladies is that just because UPS [censored]ed up on the return address and clearly for unknown reasons sent the returns to the city that we did not ask them to send it to. Now, we are out $143.96 in our wallet. It also makes me/us wonder if Meet.Curve purposely gave me, as the customer, a return address that possibly doesn't even exist, or is a possible fake address. The address Meet.Curve gave me to return the items is this... Consignee: JS EXPRESS RETURN/SF001
Address:
13901 Yorba Ave
Chino CA 91710

The above address IS the address I sent my returns back to. I swear to God that indeed that is the address we (Myself and my husband both) gave to UPS to send the items back to. I would not lie about that. I mean I have NO REASON to keep items I am not happy with or that do not fit me right. I also would NEVER have any wrongful intentions whatsoever of sending back returned items to a CITY or STATE for that matter that the items don't belong to go to in the first place. I or my husband do not even know where exactly in the city that the items were delivered to actually went. As in the actual address it went to. Literally, I’m being real here. There IS NO actual disclosed FULL address that is showing up in the tracking information. Yes, there is a strong possibility that some dishonest person working for UPS decided to slap a different shipping sticker on top of the original return sticker that was attached to the returned items. Because we all know that delivery companies more than likely tend to mistakenly hire low life dishonest individuals by accident, by not doing better background checks on their employees. But why would I have been targeted for unknown reasons. It does not make sense. Nothing in my situation when it comes to my personal return story makes any sense. All I know is again I and my husband are out of money we probably will never see back because of reasons that are NO FAULT of our own. I mean, once the package is out of our hands, and in the hands of the delivery service that is supposed to be trusted to do right by us and send back something that was meant to be sent back and to a certain location, the package once no longer in our possession is not logically our responsibility anymore. It is on the delivery service company to be honest and do their job in returning the product back.

In conclusion ladies, please take my long review of this company as a helpful warning to you all to please take my advice and stay away from this seller. Please DO NOT waste your money. They are eager to get your money, but when you aren't happy with the swimwear product they sell, or can't keep it for whatever reason, Meet.Curve will make it literally impossible to refund your money back. Both I and my husband also have suspicions that these items are not even sold actually in America, by real Americans. When you send an email to customer service, this is the automated message you get back "Your ticket has been created. Powered by HelpDesk". Then, once you get a response, that is IF you even get a response, you will get a response with some creepy looking profile picture of a person that was probably more than likely a fake profile picture, with a very generic response back. The person on the other end will literally make is hard for you to return an item or items that you intend on returning. The seller themselves, whoever they are, has it stated on the system that items must be returned within 15 days from buying the items for a full refund. and on the website. Their website also says and has a bunch of other bull[censored] disclosure crap that is questionable and makes them look questionable and weird in how there wording is as it is. I should have taken that as a warning in the first place. :(

Here is the link to their (Meet.Curve) return policy https://www.meetcurve.com/return-policy.html

You even have to send their customer service a email, if you want to return something, to actually get the return address. This alone is very weird. I mean, wouldn't one think that a legit business would have the actual return address already on the business itself website. I mean seriously, that seems very odd to me that it is not as they seem very oddly secretive of not disclosing their own return address online. Sigh! ?

+13

The address they gave you is for the same company, JS International Logistics, that they gave someone else! Except, the other person was given an address in New York 24823 Brookville Blvd ROSEDALE NY 11422 USA. I google earth searched it and it’s some spooky looking warehouse. My guess is that this JS Int’l Logistics company contracts out with all of these scammy Chinese companies that have popped up and mass-ships all of the returns back to China for cheaper than regular mail. I’m not positive but that’s my guess ??‍♀️

I’m sorry you had this experience but thank you for sharing because I was going to buy from them.

"Yes, there is a strong possibility that some dishonest person working for UPS decided to slap a different shipping sticker on top of the original return sticker that was attached to the returned items. Because we all know that delivery companies more than likely tend to mistakenly hire low life dishonest individuals by accident, by not doing better background checks on their employees."

That is some overgeneralization of delivery company employees. Also, I'm confused as to why you are saying that Meet.Curve is at fault for this when it seems like it was an error on UPS's part. Just saying.

Oh yea, if you have Facebook, and you try to leave a review for Meet.Curve on Facebook, the OWNER of the page basically will remove your commented review and block you from being able to further respond with a new review or even let alone a message to them. Basically, NOT ONCE BUT TWICE the owner of Meet.Curve DELETED my review. IF these [censored] didn't have something to hide or weren't a SCAM or FRAUDALENT seller, then they NEVER WOULD OF REMOVED MY VERY LEGIT REVIEW! THIS Meet.Curve Swimwear seller HAS refused to give me back my money when I sent the swimwear back. To make matters worse, for some odd reason, UPS sent it to a city that wasn't even put on the actual packaging in the first place and I and my husband DO have proof that the package was sent back WITH a tracking number, but UPS put the wrong return address on at some point for reasons we don't understand and instead of Meet.Curve holding UPS responsible for UPS [censored] up, now this terrible company aka Meet.Curve is refusing to give me my money back when I no longer have the product from this company any longer in my possession. It's not my fault that clearly some dishonest UPS employee wronfully obviously decided to put a address on my return package behind my and my husbands back. Well Meet.Curve, since you want to refuse to be responsible and professional and help work something out with me and my husband to get us at least a partial refund back, you will be exposed online. You can't block me from posting a review under my personal Facebook page LOLOL. What now! You did it to yourselves and again now will be exposed for refusing to give us our money back for reasons that are of no fault of I or my husband.

I placed an order which of course I did not receive! Emma (The Support Person) for this company keeps telling me the same thing. I keep checking on the status of my order from the tracking number that Emma had provided, and it’s still saying my package has not been received by ups? I’m filing and report to get a refund of my money.

+6

OMG I unfortunately girl know all to well about this "Emma" support person that you are talking about. I don't personally think that supposed "Emma" "support person" IS even a real person by even the real name of "Emma". I don't even think that creepy profile picture IS even a real person or if it is, I betcha that is a stolen picture of someone that "Meet.Curve" probably stole the identity of >:(

I'll tell you this, I hope you have better luck with this crazy company than I did. I hope your swimwear works well for you and you don't have to return the items. If you do, for some reason have to return your items, please be aware, Meet.Curve will make it very hard if not impossible to return your item(s). It gets even worse than that, if you have to return anything you bought, getting a refund is pretty much good as impossible as they will make up excuses for why they won't give you a refund back. >:(

Total scam company. No phone number to call and it's always the same person, "Emma", who writes you back in the middle of the night. I paid for fast shipping to get the suits in time for a trip and they have not even shipped yet, despite Emma telling me they have already shipped when I asked to cancel. The tracking hasn't updated in a week, it just keeps saying ready to ship. Lesson learned, don't do business with a company that has no phone number and research the company first. I wish I'd reach these reviews before forking over the cash. I'm disputing the charge with my bank and also reported to the FTC. I recommend others file a report here, maybe it will help: https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/

+18

I wish I had seen this before I ordered. They must have gotten wise to "Emma", because I have gotten "Christine" and (ironically) "Karen". I didn't even get a full address for the return. I was just given Rosedale NY and the ZIP. No street, nothing. At least the bottoms fit so it's not a total loss, but they are definitely a scam company.

Thank you for sending the link to where one needs to report fraud to. I as a victimized customer of this scam company really and I mean really do appreciate you sharing that with others victimized by Meet.Curve. Hopefully I and my husband can figure out how to report this company for fraud. If you happen to have Facebook or any other social media, please expose this seller and please link the link to report fraud for others to see. Thanks again :)

1 purchased 2 swimsuits for $72 and after weeks and weeks of them saying they are coming, they have arrived, they are still haven’t been sent etc etc etc. it’s a different story every time. When I contact the courier company they use the number just rings out. I am beyond mad! Will be taking up with PayPal for a refund and will contact the ombudsman.

+12

Did the items ever arrive? I'm in the same boat with them, wish I'd found these reviews first. You can file a fraud claim here and I'd encourage you to reach out to your bank to dispute the charges. https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/

I have been trying to get a refund for 6 months now. Paid $12 to return item after being asked to donate it...? Then was asked for a tracking number. This was not discussed prior to shipping, but I had it anyway. However I didn’t send it within the return policy’s timeline, whatever that is, so “Emma” refuses to refund me. It’s a total scam. BUYERS BEWARE!

+15

Stupid Emma! You can file a fraud claim here and I'd encourage you to reach out to your bank to dispute the charges. https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/

I purchased items from Meet Curve and then needed to return them (poor fit and quality). I contacted the support email and they provided me with the details and return shipping address. The items were returned over a month ago and I still have not received a refund to my credit card. I have followed up multiple times and they continue to tell me there is a problem with their bank and they can only refund via PayPal. This company is a scam and is not refunding original form of payment for items that have been returned.

+5

I purchased 2 swimsuits in July for $72, neither fit so I started the returns process. I was told that I could keep them and give them to charity or sell them to a friend for a “partial refund”...of $12. No thanks. So I was then told that I had to pay shipping and handling for priority mail, and to make sure there was a tracking number to send to her. Fine, done. I just want my money back. The date comes that I see it was received by the tracking number (not just security for them), I email “Emma” back and tell her such, she says they have received the items and it will take 3-15 days for me to receive my refund.

15 days passes, I email customer service again. Emma, who seems to be the only person who works for this company, emails me back and says that the financial dept had “technical problems” and cannot refund me through my original payment method and can they have my PayPal info for refund. Whatever, I just want my money. So I give her my @ for PayPal and she tells me I’ll have it in 3-5 days. Why, when PayPal is instantaneous?

5 days comes and goes. I emailed Emma..again. I told her that I would be starting the dispute process with my bank in order to get my funds back since it appeared that I would never be receiving them from their company. Rest assured, Emma said she would check with their financial dept again.

Yesterday I had enough of the runaround and told Emma that I would be starting a dispute today with my bank and presenting these emails as proof that I have been trying to get my money refunded since July. Like magic, this morning I wake up to a notification that I have funds in my PayPal account. I checked my email and, lo and behold, I received and email from Emma at 2324 last night saying the funds were sent and to please verify. The funds were sent at 2324 last night.

I paid $72 for this merchandise and they refunded me $63 with PayPal taking a $3 fee. I am beyond mad, especially since it has taken 2 months.

Emma seems to only be able to respond to my inquiries in the middle of the night. All in all, 0/5 stars, do not recommend.

+12

I really wished I would have viewed these reviews before I placed my order. Emma keeps telling me that my order has been shipped as well. And the only thing she sent me was a tracking number that only states that a label was made and that ups hasn’t received package yet? I am about to file a report and get my money refunded!

I bought 3 swimsuits @ $85 in June 2020, none of which fit as described (2 were even missing tags)- and after I sent them back on July 2nd (after contacting them first per their instructions and using certified USPS mail with a tracking number which I paid $17 shipping fees per their policy), I heard nothing. I even took pictures of my shipping labels before I sent them bc they said I had to. Yesterday I emailed them back. Apparently ‘Emma’ is the only Customer service rep. And she said I had to give them my PayPal info to get a refund. I told him I don’t have a PayPal account that that was not in the fine print for returns and that I demand to speak to a manager. Still no response. So I went on their FB page today and shared my experience. My comment has since been deleted and I am now blocked from commenting on their page. I am going to report them to the BBB here in the US. I would love to file a class action lawsuit as well based upon the same stories I’m reading on here.

+16

Oh wow. That is awful that happened to you. I just got blocked and my review was removed also by this fraudulent company on Facebook as well, after I left a nice long negative review as well. If you haven't already, just repost to your personal page. Meet.Curve is NOT above the law or above anyone for that matter and the scam artist better get that through their [censored]ic heads once and for all >:(

If you can find out how to file a class action lawsuit against this fraud company, please do so. I hope that can work out for you. I just want to cry right now because I was scammed out of $143.96 from them :'(

You can file a fraud claim here (https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/) and I'd encourage you to reach out to your bank to dispute the charges. They deleted my Facebook comments too and turned off commenting.

Same story as others here. Purchased, fit was off, returned (lots of hoop jumping to do so) then asked to create a PayPal account to get a refund. Even suggested using a friend's PayPal account and having them give me the money. Yikes. Do Not Purchase!

+11

Just here to echo the above comments. They owe me roughly $139 and some change. Keep giving me the run around about not being able to refund it back to my card. Told them I shouldnt have to download an app they want to use (paypal) just to get my money back, but I did it anyway. "Emma", who is apparently the only customer service person, thanks me for the paypal info and tells me I'll get the info asap. This was all late last night/early this morning so clearly not a company in the U.S. and guess what, still no money in my account. I'll be filing complaints wherever I'm able to.
