The item was described as handcarved wooden birdhouse. Well it is plastic so definitely not handcarved and definitely not worth 40 bucks. It was to be a Christmas gift for my 93 yr old dad but I wouldn't give this as a gift to ANYONE. It is also smaller than pictured with the man whoe supposedly carves them. Such a big disappointment. It may end up in the trash! Also hard to tell exactly where it was made or was mailed from....several addresses listed..UK, Florida, China
