I ordered bourbon from a Facebook seller, Jeff Martin, Then, I was contacted by a shipping company called Mainland Freight with a shipping tracking number. They proceeded to call stating that I needed to pay for "insurance" of $499. Then it was $499 per bottle. Once those were paid it was then $250 for shipping. Jeff Martin then said that due to delays he's "adding 2 more bottles to the shipment". Then they wanted more insurance and another $250 to insure the shipment money. Then they wanted money for a Bill of Lading then money to insure the BOL money, etc. etc. Supposedly the sender paid some of this money but I cannot get any documentation from Mainland Freight to contact as to total dollars charged, total dollars paid or any insurance documentation as they then stated they "could not refund money as insurance had been pulled through Mainland Insurance".
