Type of a scam Counterfeit Product
I wanted to purchase a charger for a Macbook Pro 2009 version. Everything seemed normal at first. I ordered the charger and received it in the mail about 7 business days later. I used the charger and it worked fine on the first day, but when I went to use it again a couple days later, it did not work. I tried it on several power outlets in my house to be sure but still could not get any response, so have been trying to return the product. The website provides an email and a phone number to contact them at. The email address Magsafe Power provides does not work and when I call their phone the following message is played, "The Magic Jack customer you have called is unable to take your call. Please leave a message after the tone." Usually a legit business does not have this kind of message. Also, the address of the company is in California, but they use a New Jersey phone number. Area code 201 is an NJ area code and covers the North Eastern part of our state.
