I applied to a position for Remote Data Entry via LinkedIn. I was sent an email from someone by the name of Allen. They mentioned being considered, due to my experience, and that I would be contacted if they were going to proceed with the hiring process. Then, I was contacted by Emily (a Hiring Assistant). Afterwards, I took a proficiency exam. After the exam, I was contacted by Emily, and she mentioned that my application was selected for hiring. Then, I was sent an offer letter to be signed and returned. Finally, I was sent links for the employee portal and for the application Telegram. I was instructed to upload my personal information, like Social Security number for I-9 verification.
