I am a realtor. I hired a cleaning company, Magical Maids, to clean a listing. The work was completed. My client (the homeowner) paid the company by Venmo. Then a woman started calling my client claiming she never got paid by Magical Maids. I reached out to the person at Magical Maids and they will not return my phone calls or texts. So "Magical Maids" took the money and never paid the subcontractor, the cleaner. In order to stop the subcontractor from repeatedly harassing my client, the homeowner, I paid the cleaner myself. Therefore, the homeowner, plus myself, paid twice for one cleaning.
