This number called me several times stating I had 3 felonies and it was a legal matter concerning a payday loan. They stated if I didn’t take care of the payment in full by phone today, I would be facing felony charges. I asked for their location and the lady says good luck in court and hung up. I called back got a guy name John. I said to remove my number and he started yelling at me and hung up. I called back. John again answers and says now do you have some sense to speak. I told him I would report them as a scam and not to ever call me again. He once more yelled profanities and I hung up. Please do not fall for this. It is a scam.

I received a phone call with a very threatening voicemail saying it was imperative that they speak to me or my attorney. And that if I didn't call back by the end of the business day, I waive my rights of council and my case will be submitted. Of course I called back in a panic, and this woman named Hailey Nickelberry(sp) was extremely rude and unprofessional saying that I owed money for an unpaid payday loan. She made it very clear she wasn't a debt collector, but said I needed to pay her 3 installments of $250 so this matter wouldn't go to court. When I told her I didn't have the money, she said go pawn something or borrow it from someone (unprofessional). She knew things about me from my past, ie. a bank I used at one point, the fact I was on SSI, but she was also calling me by my maiden name. We eventually ended the call with her saying if I didn't call back with payment by the end of the day, she would submit my case. Well, she called back today and left another voicemail, like she never talked to me yesterday. I have read online many stories of this scam and other scams with her name and/or the company name "Madison Douglas Recovery Services" attached to them. The phone numbers are from Madison, WI 608-237-1759 and 608-237-1796 but what I've read online is the numbers have many variations.
