I made a purchase on Lulu in the Sky (LuluInTheSky.com), thinking that it was a legitimate website. The checkout page appeared to be normal, even allowing payments to be made through Google Pay and Apple Pay. As I proceeded to check out, I noticed that taxes were not added to my total. This raised a minor red flag, however I assumed that perhaps the taxes would show up in the final payment/order confirmation. Once the site had processed my payment and I received a confirmation email, I noticed that the taxes still had not been added to the total. I sent an email to the customer service email included in the order confirmation email only to receive an email bounce / notification that the email address does not exist... I then ran a Google search to see what others' experiences with this website were and was disheartened to learn that many others had fallen victim to being scammed by the site.

My daughter found a dress online. When I attempted to buy it, I kept getting error messages and then I got a message that my card was declined after I tried to submit payment. It seemed very suspicious and so we checked our credit card and there was already a theft purchase transaction coming through on my card from some store I’ve never heard of. We had to cancel our card right away.

I saw these heels that I wanted for a formal, so I went to the website and bought them. The website, “Luluinthesky” looked totally legit, you could make an account, apparently sign up for emails, but little did I know it was a fraud of “Lucyinthesky”. When the heels FINALLY arrived two and a half weeks after ordered, they looked nothing at all like the pictures I saw online. When I emailed this company for a return label, they claimed it was not possible and I would have to ship them to a factory in China!? What a loss..

I purchased what I thought was a dress from the brand Cinderella Divine style number CD295 in the color emerald and a size 8. I The dress I received was a completely different style, color, and fabric and was a much lower quality than I was expecting. The dress has no retail tags or labels within the dress except for a small tag denoting it is a size small. I attempted to call the number listed on the website and it was disconnected. The dress was not shipped from Los Angeles which is the address listed on the website but from some man in Rancho Cucamonga - not a business. I went to the designer's website to find another place to purchase the dress for my upcoming event and found a list of authorized retailers and Lulu In The Sky was not listed and I realized this was a fraudulent product. I would not have purchased if I had known they were not authentic. Since the listing was identical to all other authorized retailers with comparable prices I did not know it was counterfeit.
