I had applied for a data entry/admin clerk position working remotely with this company using a classified employment website Glassdoor. After submitting my application, I got an email asking me for an interview via Google Hangouts. During the interview I was made aware that this company would mail me a check for purchasing equipment necessary to work from home. Additionally this company hired me during the interview. I asked for confirmation on my hiring from the company, I never got a response back. I was scheduled to meet with the hiring manager but I ended up getting blocked by the hiring manager on Google Hangouts.

Also when looking at the physical address of this company, it is on residential street with no sign of the company. On the company's website there was no information on their employees, projects they have worked on, and no board of directors.

I was emailed from a “company” called lootingcove construction saying that my resume stood out and that they would like me to contact their hiring manager and to download google hangout to get a briefing and do interviewing with her. Briefing and interview process was via text through google hangout. They tried asking for my address and phone number and when I asked for their license number they stopped texting me.
