They pretend to be a company looking for remote workers, get packages sent to the employees' homes for then the employee to send the package back out to a new address. They tell the employees that they will get paid after 1 month probation. When it's time for the employee to get paid, the employer ignores office calls, emails and takes the worker off the site so that they aren't allowed to sign back in, leaving all the employees' personal information on there such as home address and banking information.
