He came to install four locks on two doors. I asked him what he was going to charge me. He said he was going to Home Depot to get the locks for about 30 to 40 dollars and he would let me know. When he came back he started installing the locks. When he was done he wanted to charge me over nine hundred dollars. I told him I didn't have that kind of money. I talked him down to five hundred dollars, he promised he would charge us five hundred dollars. I gave him my card and license. In the meantime we checked the locks and found that one lock was not locking. He said he was going to Home Depot to get a part to fix it. He left and never returned. While he was away I checked my credit card and he had charged me over six hundred dollars. After some time had past I called him to find out when he was going to finish the job and he hung up on me. We feel that he saw two elderly disabled people that he could take advantage of. We don't think that this was his first time nor will it be his last.
