Type of a scam Online Purchase
I placed an order for a laptop computer and paid by wire transfer (website claimed they were having issues with credit card fraud). A week later they sent poorly worded email communication (via their website) saying they could not ship my laptop and I needed to place another order with them. Please see the email below:
"Hello,
Thanks for your prompt mail,
There's a new development as stated by the board of directors , the shipment was stopped because the MOQ was shifted from 1 Unit to Units. For this reason you can look up another item you can purchase so as to meet up to our requirement. This happened as a result of changes that would occur in prices of products since we are out of promo sales.
Kindly get back to us as soon as possible.
Best regards"
I requested refund in live chat connection on their website, and they refused, insisting I place another order with them. Can you recommend a forum where I can warn others of this fake business?
Their phone number is located in Moore, OK. phone number:(405) 237-8484. I called and got a message saying the google subscriber is not available.
I requested written account of the live chat exchange I had with the business on 1/16/16 and got an email transcript of the exchange from ***@hushmail.com. That live chat exchanges is provided below:
