I applied for a loan off my house i was contacted by community financial funding, they said i was pre-approved for 20,000 after i had completed all documents required. Then when before receiving loan documents the person i was speaking with me went over everything then sent to me where i had to review and signed contract was small on my phone so i had to keep zooming in and out to read. Contract stated that i had to pay my first 2 payments up front and in smaller print i soon learned they also wanted 1800 for insurance costs but i would recive back with in 24 hrs. I questioned it and they agreed to waive 1000 and i would just may the 800 buti did not have it for 7 days so they said they would give me 5 business days( they dont included weekends only week days so would give me enough time to pay, well when the time to pay came up i called to pay and did so then received and email saying i had to pay the additional 1000 but i called back and guy said he would contact me back one he spoke to funding department. Took hours to hear back from him, he said they will take another 500 and that would be efficient, i received email from funding department as well saying about the 500. I sent and received another email saying i would recive within 2 hrs to next day. I never reviewed the 20,000 nor my insurance payment back. I continue to call and email with no response. Yes i know now it was a scam and i lost out on 1,970.
