Scammed elderly

Scammed elderly 83 yr. mother. Told her , her daughter was in accident needed bail money, cash only by a certain time. Quite a bit of money. Latino around 32 actually came to house in white, looking suv/ wagon looking vehicle. Lucky nobody was there at time. Would of been some trouble.Scammed, even though she knew none of it was true, after the flight of risk ...put some good cameras up and take the appropriate steps before giving these low lives all of your money!

THANK YOU!!! Saved my mom from a scam

My mom called asking for $9k to bail my brother out after a car accident this morning. She said my brother called her from a courthouse. She was very sparse on details, English is not her first language and she's old, but she did share his "lawyer's" phone number: 6195004930

This site came up after a google search. SCAM! Thank you all for hosting this site and posting your experiences! It gave me enough pause to start calling local courthouses and local sheriff to confirm my brother was not actually in trouble. After making a few phone calls with no luck finding him. My mom called me back to tell me that my brother eventually returned her missed calls.

He was at work! Not in jail.
