Created Fake Facebook Account and then REcommended Calling Lawrence Demech

Shame on these people. I received a Facebook friend request and accepted it. Then, the person pretended to be my friend and recommended I contact Lawrence Demech about CSBG - Community SErvice Block Grant - to get money to help pay bills and such. It seemed weird, so I texted my friend directly, and she said it wasn't her that was messaging me. BEWARE!

Type of a scam Government Grant

A friend of mine text me and shared this Gradient Grant Community Outreach Supports Program and since I trusted her I gave this guy my information. Then he asked for money for processing and delivery, upfront, of course. I'm not 100% sure this is a scam but when I said I didn't have that much money it was then how much do I have? Too many red flags. I'm not for sure that it is my friend who I was talking to either. He says he's a government agent. There is a picture of a man with an American flag and government seal but, that doesn't mean it's him. Just be careful. The link she gave me is agent.lawrencedimech17. The messenger account is Lawrence Dimech.
