Caller knew my name said he has court documents to be delivered to me and needed to set up a date and time to deliver them. I told them nothing. They said to call them back at 888-670-1348 and give them this verification number they gave me.

Hey Mr. Jones called me from a law firm he said he was a paralegal and he stated that there was going to be a lawsuit against me filed tomorrow morning he said he couldn’t tell me what it was for because he can’t do that it’s against the law but he needed the name of my lawyer he had my full name an old address my email and the last four of my social security number I don’t have any laws suits against me at this time he was looking for my lawyers name I’m not really sure why or where it was going to go from there cause I hung up on him

This text message was sent to my phone, 2 of my sons phones, my ex Mother in law all on the same day. Every message stated my full name and to contact ASAP.

This message was sent on 2/10 and again on 2/11

The caller stated they were from the Law Firm and I owed a debt of $3,550. If I didn't pay I would be summons and and I would have to go to court. When I asked them for their name again they would not repeat it and the representative hung up. I called back and I spoke to John Andrews and he said they would settle for $500 but I had to get a gift card no later than 12pm on November 1. And once I got the gift card I would need to call back at 855-963-1724.

My elderly mother first received a phone call with someone posing as her "grandson" indicating they had been in an accident and were injured...stitches in their mouth which is their excuse for why they sounded different. They indicated they had been arrested and were in trouble and asked her to call their attorney and provided the number 1-773-661-3206. Then a few minutes after hanging up with the scammer...the call came from the number provided advising they were the attorney, Chad Reed from Chicago and were needing her assistance to bail out the supposed "grandson". Thankfully she realized it was a scam and hung up but this is so sad that people prey on our elderly like this and their emotions.

Called my cell phone saying I will receive a check Friday from this law firm and is this XXXXX XXXXX? When I said yes they hung up. I then knew it was a scam.

I received a voicemail from a male caller who said to call him back at the number listed above. He said "if I do not hear from you or your attorney I will submit that you have refused counsel and your case will be submitted." I called the number back and the woman who answered the phone said it was such and such law office. I inquired about the message I'd received and was told it was in regards to a debt I owed to cash service company. I know I dont owe any type of debt and told her so, and told her to never call me again but she hung up before I finished speaking.

Stated my wife and I had committed fraud and if we didn't respond they'd contact the courts. Very vague.

I received a phone call stating that there were 4 serious allegations against me and that if i didn't respond they would report me to the local police. I have never been to texas and i am a law abiding citizen and calls like this are disturbing to me . Please check this out and have them

reported as a a scam artist or probably wanting money thank you
