When I emailed asking for a refund or exchange, I didn't get a response until a few days after I filed a dispute with the gift card company about the transaction.
Despite responding to the email, I didn't get any response back, and when I sent another email, I didn't get a reply.
Eventually I would get a provisional chargeback that was recently reversed, all of this without the seller communicating with me.
The subject business accepted my online order, charged my credit card for it and sent an email saying the order had been shipped. The provided USPS tracking number showed that a label had been created and the post office was waiting for the shipment.
When, four days later the order had not shipped I sent two emails over the next two days requesting a status update. There was no response.
Finally 9 days after the order date, I received an email saying sorry they had a problem with their shipping system, and even if the system worked, they were out of stock. I could wait a month to see if they restocked or I could request a refund.
I expect you will agree that this was poor business practice.
