H L, new owner of Lakeside animal hospital purchased the building & veterinarian client list on October 30th 2021.
The previous owner of 36 years had a veterinarian office there called East Ridge Animal Hospital.
So when I was looking for a veterinarian's office I saw that this business last animal hospital had over 400 reviews with a five star rating.
Therefore, I assumed that the reviews were written for Lakeside Animal Hospital. They were not.
Under Google's policy if you buy a commercial property and you do not change the name of the business you can keep the reviews from the previous owner.
But if you buy the commercial property and you change the name of the business even if it's the same type of business you forfeit the reviews.
In my opinion either way if it's under new ownership and new employees they should not be able to use the reviews from a veterinarian who was in business for 36 years but needless to say it's misleading a lot of clients, pet owners. Like myself, sadly.
The owner of Lakeside also on her personal Facebook page which I can send proof posts asking for her friends to show some love by posting reviews that are positive on Google it's just on ethical as soon as she had some bad reviews from what I saw.
And it looks like she's even having her employees go on and do reviews but something needs to be done because a lot of people are being misled like she has 15 reviews that were all written in the same week that she actually posted on her Facebook page so if somebody would like to call me I would be more than happy to speak with them to fill you in on everything because it needs to stop I've tried to reach out to Google but that's virtually impossible to have them look into the situation but like I said earlier in my statement they do have a policy and she is not complying with that policy, of the business name change.
And in fact she also has an LLC that's called Licata Pet Health, LLC.
I took a still shot of Licata fb post, with my phone unfortunately your site is only allowing me to send one picture, therefore I'm not able to send the whole post that she wrote to her friends.
