I've been getting texts for weeks from 'contractors' supposedly working for a neighbor, offering 'work' that are actually intended to target my father, but luckily they have the wrong number. One finally called directly from an Oregon number and identifying themselves as an employee of "La Center Builders", a supposed contractor company. I said I wasn't interested and own our own construction company so they wouldn't call back. After hanging up I immediately looked up the business to find that it doesn't exist.
