He told me he had a business license in the state of Idaho. He introduced me to his wife and we all had lenghly conversations about the repair work. Then he asked me over the telephone for a $ 75.00 fee for a written estimate. He said he would give me a receipt of the money paid with the written estimate. He also explained that the $75.00 fee would be given in credit towards the repair bill.
After receiving the $75.00 he did not communicate with me in the form of a written estimate, by telephone, or by text. I didn't hear from him until I saw him near my residence about a week later. He again promised to send me the written estimate that same day. Never sent me the written estimate or heard from him.
I again saw him near my residence visiting someone living near me and I approached him. I asked him if he was ever going to follow through with my estimate and car repairs. He began to yell profanities at me, telling me lies about what he had done for me. He never did any work to repair my vehicle. I have video of this encounter.
Today he threatened to put a mechanics lien on my vehicle.
