I hired KG Weddings and Events in Oct 2021 to perform wedding event services. Per our contract, services were supposed to be rendered on Nov 5, 2022. The owner of the company was difficult to get in contact with and when contacted would defer answering questions to an employee, who was also minimally responsive. The owner attempted gain an additional amount of money from me for her "Security Team" that was not included in our original contract. Per her emails she was to take over communications with other vendors working with me on my wedding day. She did not contact a single vendor causing me to be delinquent in payments for other services. After being paid the full amount per my contract with this company, I received an email on Oct 27, 2022 that the company could no longer complete our contract as the planner had a "family emergency", but that I would be given a full refund. I have not received a refund. The owner of the company no longer responds to emails or answers phone calls and has sent all communication through her lawyer. We have filed with the small claims court but have been unable to locate the company in order to serve the complaint.
