A friend was contacted online with an ad for a website having a black Friday sale. They were selling Kayaks and she knew I was interested in getting a kayak, so she forwarded a copy of the email to me. I recognized the brand of Kayaks right away, they were made by the company Old Town. I was shocked when I saw they were advertising a Predator PDL fishing kayak for $69.00 because I knew that model retails for around $2700.00. I tried to research the company, Kayaks Store, online and found no results at all. I ended up calling Old Town and they told me they had reports of several websites "Selling" their products at huge discounts. They told me it was a scam for sure, and advised against using the website. Neither I or my friend made a purchase from this website, and I hope that this will help anyone else from falling prey to the people who created this scam.
