While on Facebook I was messaged by a former co-worker who in conversation inquired if I had received the grant from the JPB Foundation for pandemic relief. I said no, he gave me the name of a contact person. I contacted them and we exchanged information which the person supposedly looked up and determined I had qualified. Since the info was false, except for my name, I was surprised but went ahead and inquired how I was to get the money. The person said there was a processing charge which I would need to pay before the funds could be released. I went back to my former co-worker and asked him some personal questions which he should have been able to easily answer about others we worked with. He did not reply. I ended my conversations with both parties.
