The next day he said send money now through Zelle, that’s how I knew something was up ? I didn’t send him the extra $500 because I felt he was a fraudulent person he was robbing us. I knew it was my mistake to trust him through Craigslist we were in desperate to move. He used our vulnerability against us. I lost $500 on his fake rental agreement.
He made copies of rental papers and how we pay him and we gave him our information as well. The address he claims to be his in order for us to rent is 12635 Briarglen Loop, Stanton California 90680.
I would like to sue him if possible?
He claims he owned the apartment for us to lease. I called the Apartment Management they said somebody is living in the unit already and he’s been claiming he’s the owner. So definitely was a fake property. He also made a FAKE lease of certificate under “his name”
He gave me his personal information as well.
