My grandmother has been in contact with a company who has told her she has won millions of dollars. There are multiple people calling her from a few different numbers, however the numbers are all different. My grandmother began going to her bank and writing checks to herself for large/odd sums of money and was caught in a few lies as to what the money was for and where it came from/is going. I was able to go in to the bank and talk with the manager and they just told her she would no longer be allowed to bank there, but were not going to press any charges. Both the bank and I tried to convince her it was a scam that was telling her to write these checks and send large sums of money, we though it worked. However, last week I overheard her talking with John Washington who was telling her that he loves her, they were going to run away and retire together with her millions. She is roped back into the scam and is now trying to get a reverse mortgage (I believe this is John Washington and his group that are convincing her to do so). The numbers that were calling her are listed below as well as the names:

Adrienne (male) 593-3030 and 590-3030 (no area codes)

990-7692 also comes up quite frequently.

Got a phone call from a person who identified himself as John Washington and asked if I had gotten phone calls telling me I had won a prize. I said no but my wife informed me she had gotten two calls this morning that she did not listen too. He informed me he was the owner of a company that was locating prize winners. I asked how I had won this prize. He said I had entered sweep stakes contests. I replied I had not. He asked if I shopped at WalMart, I said yes and he informed me I was the third place winner and that I had won 3.5 million dollars a 1915 Mercades and $1,000,000 in cash. He said it would take a little time to get things pulled together and get out here to give me the prize, he would call me every day to keep me up on the progress. I asked what I needed to do and he said it was just get things cleared with the bank and others I didn't need to do anything, I said fine I don't need daily calls just let me know when they were coming. He persisted that he would be calling me in the morning at 10.30. He also pointed out that I have his number on my phone and I could call him,

After I hung up and waited a few minutes I called back and got a recording that the person at that number was not available and I could leave a message.
