Scammer is posting multiple San Francisco apartment rental listings on Craigslist whose rent seems way too good to be true, and asking interested parties to call a phone number to learn more. After I called, it's clear the other party is not a real estate agent. They ask you to pay for a credit report for $1, then send them screenshots of your credit score to an email address. When they emailed me, the email did not look professional and it did not look like a true real estate business. They never follow back up on an apartment viewing or have the owner contact you (which they say they will). I called again on a different listing, and was surprised that the man on the other end knew my name without me providing it. This is some sketchy operation. I was not financially harmed or anything by this scam.
