My mother and aunt are both victims to online romance scam on Facebook. They were both targeted by people pretending to be real. They were led to believe these scammers were doctors and worked for the military and, eventually died. Both women were scammed out of over 100,000 usd. Checks were sent to "J.D.B Corporation". I tried to notify their Bank of the incident (Chase Bank) and they simply told me they could not do anything about it.
