Searching for a pyerdoolde puppy online back in June 2020 I forget the name of the website because I used it just once and then spoke with the owner Jann Stewart by phone, text or email after the initial website contact. At the time she said she would have puppies around December of 2020 and requested a $500 deposit, I sent it. I would contact several times to check in, I was always told things are great. In October she contacted me and said the puppies arrived a bit early and they would be ready for pick up 11/20/20 and that I should schedule a flight as well as send a pet carrier and she would meet me at the airport. Why did I of sent her a pet carrier I would be there in person to pick up the dog, oh boy I was not being smart. I had a friend who is somewhat of a travel agent book me a round trip flight as well as a ticket for the puppy. He told me the puppy had to be 16 weeks to fly my puppy was 8 weeks, when I recontacted Jann and asked her about this she said "no worries the puppies are very big at 16 weeks and won't fit under the seat,so that is why she releases them at 8 weeks, she also said I would have no problems getting them on the plane because they look like they are 16 weeks." Ok, I bought the tickets even though my friend said " I think you are going to have to rent a car to get home". Another note : my husband and I were going to drive and pick up the puppy but she insisted we did not because of the concern of Pravo and puppies not being fully vaccinated. on 11/12/20 Jann contacted me and stated that the rules have changed for flying because of the "covid"puppies must be 16 weeks old to fly? she had some story about others who would take the puppy, this is a doozy, a couple that just had a miscarriage of twins were next in line for a puppy and they were ecstatic to receive this puppy, really I was getting even more skeptical. I said well my husband and I decided to drive on down to get the puppy, she said it was to late blah blah blah... Then 20 minutes later she texted me that the couple decided they did not want the puppy, so it was mine again, this was after I asked for a refund. So we were going to leave to make the 15 hour trip to pick up the puppy again. Then she asked for an additional $88.00 for a vet check, I stated I would send the $88.00 after I receive the vets report, she refused said she needed the money before the appointment. I refused, she sent me several texts saying I was a horrible angry person and she did not want to sell a puppy to a person like me, oh brother! really manipulation at the finest. I sent her several venmo requests for the $500 deposit, no refund has been received as yet, I asked about the puppy crate she said she would send it to me, I'm really upset at myself because I gave her my home address.
