The caller sent an email with a payment link for a Quickbooks annual renewal knowing that the subscription runs out tomorrow. The email stated that the payment for the renewal did not go through so I would need to use the link to make that payment. The amount they asked for was an excess of $700 when my actual yearly fee is usually around 300.
