I pre-paid for the deluxe version of a book that was being crowd-funded 4 years ago. The author, Ros Radley, changed the completion date many many times. I reached out several times asking for an update and received the same response “MAGIC is still under construction and I hope to have it ready to ship (date changes in each response ).” There is an entire blog for customers who were scammed out of money. See https://www.kissfaq.com/forum24/viewtopic.php?t=147651&start=50. I heard Ros gave some people refunds but then posted a message on his website that he could no longer honor refunds. He has since disappeared off social media and don’t respond to questions.
