They hacked D*** L*** on face book them I'm me saying they were D*** and she just received a grant for $80000. They asked me for information. I gave them my name but no additional information. D*** sent something on Facebook telling everyone this was happening

I was contact via social media by a family friend who stated she received $20,000 in grant money. She said she was told you don't have to repay the money back and it has really helped her out. So I checked it out, texted IFC to the number she gave me. They asked for my info and I did, but got a funny feeling so I did some research and turned out it's a scam.

I started receiving messages last night from a "friend". I was busy and didn't chat. As soon as I logged onto Facebook this morning, December 11, she started telling me she had somethings she wanted to discuss with me. I did send the code to the number above but very quickly decided to check online about this "grant". It said it was a scam so I immediately blocked the number and unfriended this person as I was advised to do. When I asked her some personal question like where she was living all the answers were very vague. The message also stated that I would receive a reply from them by 10:00 today and then she would send me a link
