The individual is posing as a female from the IRS, who is allegedly over recruiting. They sent me an application to fill out as well as the link for a zoom meeting. They wanted me to create a ID me account and then prompt for me to give them the information which I thought was suspicious.

I applied for a job on indeed CSR IRS & I was emailed & told to contact my recruiter which is the first red flag because they usually always contact you then I was told to fill out info on my I.D me account luckily I only had to upload my license that was the only information they received but they asked for me to get a green dot card at add 20$ then send the front & back that’s what definitely showed me this was a scam I didn’t even do a interview as of yet

This Company said that I must take pictures of my birth certificate, social security card, state issued ID, and Health Care insurance card to receive my tax refund. I did all of the above for them and haven’t received any verification from the IRS about this.

Since The Department of Economics has hired ID.me it has collected valuable and personal information for one to collect weeks from unemployment. And then deny verification after collecting all info. And a video selfie. They don't have a contact number and they never explain why u were not identified. I'm being evicted because of this nonsense. As of October 1. 2021 I have to leave my only place to live. Because I wasn't able to pay my rent due to ID. Me keeping me from collecting 8wks of unemployment.

This website is.me has emailed me for 2 days straight over and over. I have had at least 2000 emails from this company in the last 12 hours. I feel that this may possibly be an identity theft scam. The city on the site is never the same.

I typed in dmv and I was taken to an ID.ME website. I unknowingly provided my information including my social security number. I thought I was providing information to the California DMV website. The website shows up as dmv.org. They could be stealing hundreds of identities because people think they a the actual DMV website. Now they even have my IP address.
