I found a rental property on Facebook marketplace and inquire about it. Andrew jankowski told me to get an apple card for $80.00 for a background check. Less than 5 minutes later, i was miraculously approved. No receipt was issued, even after requested. He then wanted another apple card in the amount of $400.00 for the deposit before i could even view the property. I was told that his lawyer would meet me at the property. I spoke with him on the phone, but with his thick accent, you couldn't understand him. His "lawyer" did call me and when asked where his office was located, he told me that he only represents mr jankowski for all of his properties. This man had the same accent that you couldn't understand, just as the scam artist had. I've got screenshots of our conversations.

What he's doing, is taking listings from other websites all over America, and changing terms and posting them on Facebook marketplace and doing his scam routine. I spoke with a lady from New York that had the exact same thing happen to her. This needs to be stopped asap please!
