I called an 800 number for the Hyatt Buffalo in Amherst NY to plan an upcoming stay. I thought I was speaking to someone at the front desk who was helping me make the reservations. The reservations were canceled via text shortly after because our plans had changed and I received confirmation numbers confirming that the reservations were canceled. When I received my credit card statement, I learned that all of the room reservations had been fully charged to my credit card. The third party who disguised themselves as the front desk was Hotel Planner. They pretended to be Hyatt and they are actually AI!! Be very careful. I have been trying to get a refund on my credit card and they keep saying they are opening a case and will get back to me.
