Distinctive Contracting & Renovations / Gus Vitrano promised to help sever property so that a home could be built on it. He advised he had connections in the town and could make it happen. He dropped names of prominent people in the community as a means of trust. He asked for $15,000 but did not provide a receipt or any proof of work being done though being asked repeatedly. He indicated he had asked for reports from subcontractors but refused to provide any reports. No one attended the property and the town planner advised no reports were requested. He refused to provide proof of work or reports advising the money was for him. He decided it is non-refundable though no contract was signed.
