Frauds!!

I thought I was speaking with a Comcast rep about billing issues. He even had the text verification down with Comcast branding and told me to verify that I received his text message. Now looking back, he just used a regular phone and added Comcast branding email to fool folks. I told him I was not happy with my monthly bill and that I am looking for credit and reduction in my bill, this dude said he was enrolling me into a promotion where he could offer me approximately $80 a month off my bill but I needed to move today, he even placed me on hold as if he was reviewing my account and then came back to the line and asked for me to verify the last digits of my ss#, dob, and checking routing number and bank account number. Like a fool, I gave it to him. He heard the hesitation in my voice and provided a call back number along with an extension number. But when he said his name was Jacob Gray and he clearly sounded Indian with an accent, is when I automatically knew that I had been scammed. I hung up and had to put a freeze on all of my credit reports as well as put a freeze on my checking account which I will now have to close and open a new one.

we looked up the phone number for Xfinity to help us connect a cable box we received thru the mail. We called 877-786-1901 and spoke to Daniel Brown id#1901. Since we were new customers he said we needed to pay our cable bill in full to have them assist us. We gave them our bank info and they took the money from our account and Xfinity never received the money.
