I am filing this complaint against HK VIP Kitchen in San Gabriel for fraudulent unauthorized charging and forgery. On my visit, due to the extremely hostile and unprofessional service, I explicitly wrote a "0 with a slash" (∅) on the tip line of the merchant copy to indicate no tip was authorized. However, the restaurant later altered the amount and processed an unauthorized tip charge to my Chase credit card. This is a clear case of financial forgery and merchant misconduct. I have already contacted my bank and will be filing a report with the California Department of Consumer Affairs if this is not resolved. Desired Settlement: I request a full refund of the unauthorized tip amount and a formal apology from the management regarding their staff's conduct and fraudulent billing practices.
