The scammer texted my relative regarding interest in the job, then prompted my relative to take a legitimate looking 30 minute exam online to test for data entry skills. They then sent an offer letter without an interview and claimed the rush was due to them needing to fill the position sooner than they expected. They requested a returned and signed offer letter, and requested some basic information for their "employee portal" over email. The information requested was legal name, DOB, gender, address, cell, and email address. When my relative requested a brief video call before proceeding they did not respond despite having a quick response rate up until that point.
