The scammer sent a letter stating that my wife and I were the entitled to an inheritance of 10,500,00 dollars from a deceased distant relative. It was unclaimed and located at TD Bank of Canada. It had to be claimed by the end of this year, 2023. In order to claim it, several fees had to be paid, including inheritance taxes, lawyer fees, and processing fees. Money was to be sent via direct US bank transfer to China. It involved transfers from our personal banks, cashier's deposits into the scammers account, and processing fees involving money in Dubai. We requested the money be send directly from Canada and that we would use the money from the inheritance to pay any associated inheritance taxes directly, and attorney Henandez said this was not possible.
