I was locked out of my Yahoo email account, despite knowing my email password. Yahoo locked me out and said I needed to send copy of my state ID. I did. Still wasn’t good enough and Yahoo said I needed to pay for service to unlock and the charge would be $14.11 per month. I paid the money and canceled the service the next day. Yahoo then charged me $14.11 for 19 months for a total $268.09 and when I called to cancel their yahoo secure plus service, they said they would but charged me again for the month before cancellation. I called customer service and told them I cancelled the service 18.75 months prior and they just ignored me. What’s strange is that their service said cancellation would occur if the $14.11 wasn’t paid. I had to get new credit cards and never gave those new numbers to Yahoo, yet they still were charging me somehow on my new credit card!
