New Education Relief is a total scam! Even though they somehow have all your student loans info, I found out the hard way they are nothing but scam artists. Luckily I'm only out $125, but others are out hundreds of not thousands of dollars. If you are being harassed by these people, their only means of communication seems to be via text message, cancel the debit card your payments are being withdrawn from immediately. Notify your bank of what is happening and notify the BBB. Then contact either the legit servicer of your account or call the main number for Federal Student Loans at 1-800-433-3243 or go to studentaid.gov for help. If anyone knows any other companies that need to be notified, please leave a reply.

[censored] had all my info. And spoke clear English. Set up a contract of $19 a month. For a loan of $25,000 then I started noticing random amounts (all over $100) coming out of my account at random times and always within a day or two of when the $19 payment came out for like 4 months till I figured it out. I stopped paying changed my bank as they can't do anything, but didn't trust having the same bank. I text new education relief and asked for an itemized statement for 6 months, they still have not sent it. They have said they would many times. They are still trying to get money from me, they said I owe $95 from. July-November. They text me multiple times a day trying to get money. If I email or call, they don't answer now. I can only get them on text. I told them I had names and numbers and the police had been notified, and they are looking into it, so good luck. I hope they are found and stopped. Fingers crossed, these Jerks get in some form of an accident that leaves them mangled and unable to do anything for themselves. Just so I can say Karma is a B[censored]. You got what you deserved. I hope others catch on fast, so these people won't get anything. I really hope these people pay. A number I haven't seen yet that they have used before other than the ones already posted is 6579334001

I was easily conned out of making this agreement to pay $1200 in exchange for relieving me of all my student loan debt. There wasn’t a website at first but they did have all my student loan info prior. Now that I see the website it’s an absolute scam and my bank immediately cancelled the card they were using for auto payments. The damn audacity.
This scam blows my mind

Omg! I feel so stupid should have known this was to good to be true! I was scammed out of $620 dollars. I couldn’t figure out how come the emails were still coming in from my school loan, then I googled the number and saw this 😡 I am so pissed right now. I am going to try and get my bank to put the money back. I really didn’t need this on top of of everything else that i am going through. I am going to call them tomorrow and give them a piece of my mind. Thank you for sharing before I got scammed out of anymore money. Is there anyone that I can report these people to? I wonder how many more people they have scammed. They gave a couple of numbers to call them on when they texted me one was the one that ends in 8886 and another is 855-420-6001 I didn’t google that number yet but they also text from 310-299-9250 oh and a Pauline at 657-900-8543. Boy I got scammed good. I am stupid.

I was contacted by phone, I thought they were connected to my student loans because they had my info. They said they could help me lower or even discharge my loans. They emailed me a contract and said I could pay small monthly installments of $20. After I sent the signed contract back they informed me I had agreed to pay $220/ month and I said I had not and I wanted to cancel the service because I could not afford that. They told me not to worry about it but the next week I started receiving messages from multiple numbers saying they were going to debit my account for $220. Each time I told them I couldn't afford it and asked then to wait until I could see what I could pay. I did pay $50 about a week after signing. Then I couldn't pay anything through February. In March they continued to message or call for money. At the same time my student loan companies also contacted me via email. I contacted my loan companies and they said they never heard of New Education relief and no one had called for me to do anything with my loans. I then put my loans into deferment myself and attempted to contact New Education relief about what service they were providing me. They tried to say they had processed paperwork on my behalf and I asked for copies to be emailed, which she said would be sent the following week. I asked why so long and she said my next payment was due. I told her I dont have money. A few days later I received a text reminding me money would be debited from my bank and I said please do not because its not payday until later in the week, wait until I tell you and I said I would call. Then the next morning I got a notice money was taken from my account. It took me most of the day to find someone in all the numbers they gave me and when the woman did call me I demanded my money back and she said they couldn't give it back- so sorry. I then told her they were a scam and I knew it because i had contacted my loan companies myself and they had never and she tried to say she was emailing me the paperwork- which I still never received. I feel very stupid. I work as a social worker and have helped people to not get scammed several times. I've only been scammed myself once or twice before years ago. I had submitted another report but didn't include phone number & email.
