On Monday, June 26th, I looked up reviews for earbuds online, and consumer experts had a list of their favorites. I clicked on a link for Go Go Gadgets and decided to buy some. When I got to the site, it tried to add extra items. I chose PayPal as my payment source, and then they wanted to register the earbuds and also wanted my credit card information. It wouldn't let me go any further, so I called the company and explained. The representative said to keep trying it again. Before I could review and confirm my purchase amount, it went through. It didn't say the transaction went through, though, so I tried a few more times. Come to find out, I was charged 4 times total. Three times for 77.56 and once for 43.10, grand total of $275.78. I contacted PayPal and filed a dispute claim for each charge. 4 cases were started. I attempted to call the company numerous times, two different phone numbers, a local California number, and a 1-800 number. They didn't answer despite the fact they had answered right away when I was unable to make my first payment. After holding for quite some time, I was finally able to get a hold of a representative. He appeared to be quite familiar with this happening and looked at the transactions and said he canceled them, but also said PayPal would take care of it. I tried to explain what happened, he just said it's taken care of and that was it.
