On 8/22/2023, someone claiming to be Malcolm Richards - after asking for my D.O.B., address and projected 2023 earnings - “offered” me a Cigna Bronze plan (ACA) with: $0 premium, $0 deductible, $50 doctor visits, $5 generic drugs & $9700 max-out-of-pocket. The plan was to start within 10 days via health insurance card which was to arrive via U.S. mail. He left call back # 880-430-1380 and said I’d receive an email re: the transaction. Having not received said email, I called 888-430-1380, asked to speak with Malcolm Richards and was told “I do not work with him & he must not have properly enrolled you”, all without ever providing my name.

I was having a very hectic day and had a number of issues pending, such as homeowner's insurance claim, etc. when the telephone rang. Normally, I would not have answered the call because I didn't recognize the name or number, but because I had so many issues up in the air, I did answer. I answered, "hello", and heard some background noise, then the caller said "Can you hear me?" Before I knew what had happened, I answered "Yes". I immediately realized what I had done, and the caller said "This is Lynette from Healthcare Benefits". I then immediately hung up the phone. Of course I was in a panic, but didn't want to assume the worse, but now I think that was definitely a scam because just this week our credit card was used fraudulently and I just received a "paypal" invoice for over $600 for something we did not purchase.

I received a refund check for $30 yesterday from what I thought was a legitimate healthcare provider. Check couldn’t be cashed. Realized the website looks just like the website that is scamming my fathers Medicare. They now have my checking account number

They contacted me via text message saying that my healthcare coverage was about to expire. I called and they took my name, birthday, and zip code then hung up on me. When I called back they gave me several different names of businesses and told me they were in several different states. They are definitely scammers... Please stop them ASAP!

I was looking for a personal assistant. Someone who could come live with me after I have surgery. I am a blind veteran and would need some assistance with many things and the VA would pay them the person to assist me. I was contacted by Mary Stamand who said she could be my personal assistance once she moved to my town to work for Columbus State College. She also had a lady named Mrs Anderson who was going to assist Mary with the transition to Columbus. I started to send them money through Steam Cards totaling close to $3,000. They also had an unemployment card mailed to me issued by the state of Virginia in the name of Barry E. Rivkins. they told me to continue checking the balance on the card and once the funds were on there for me to forward them the money through steam cards. They also sent ordered me a cash app card and had it mailed to me but I haven't used it yet and don't plan to. I have recently found out that this is some type of scam which I have experience before through these social media app. I've tried to have these scammers blocked but they continue to contact me on my cell phone.

A person from these numbers has called me wanting me to give them my medical account information. They claimed being from my health care provider Humana, but when I contacted my actual agent they said it was a scam. They had all my personal information. I believe this to be a scam.

I had received a call from a person offering information about back braces. I had told this person that I had signed up a few months ago to get a back brace but never received one. I had got a call last week about this same back brace solicitation I received today, but I did not take the number the person called me from down last week. The person I spoke to wasn't sure if it was the same, but I gave her information to see if I qualified for a back brace. I gave her my social security number and other information. Shortly after this, the phone line got cut off and when I tried calling back nothing would happen. I believe this was a scam.
