Caller stated that there was a case against me in Galveston County Texas. Inital caller identified as Melick Smith with Civil service dispatch. Then transferred me to a female that refused to give me any information except firm info when I accused them of being scammers. The female identified the firm as two different names. Goldstone and associates with a website of hammonlegalgroup.com

Then she told me constables were on their way to serve me at an address I haven't lived at for 2.5 years. Do not fall for this scam. It took all of 3 minutes to find scams being report in the internet with all of these names.

I received a call, and they stated I have a civil suit against me. I told them I wasn't aware, she identified my email address, home address and number then emailed me an attachment for case settlement. I denied having cc account with Chase Bank in 2003-2005 and I got mad, she hung up. I called Chase Bank the credit card recovery team couldn't find old or archived accounts. The email attachment had a case number, and previous account number that Chase stated was not pulling anything up. I ran all 3 credit reports and looked at public records, nothing on it. I called a local civil attorney and they stated it sounded fishy, she couldn't find a civil case in Dallas County under my name. I gave her the "Law firm" that contacted name and she seen that they are reported for scamming for fake lawsuits. I applied for a commercial lease property in Aug or Sept and the owner informed me that there's a civil case pending on my credit report, I can't see it anywhere and Chase Bank ran it and didn't see it either. I think the scammers are adding it to my credit report or something. I keep getting these calls, I haven't been served or received anything from collection in the mail.
