Type of a scam Identity Theft
It first started with my hotmail (Microsoft) email. I was getting notifications of unusual activity. During this time, I changed my password on the email, but it still continued. I'm not sure how they were able to keep getting into my email. They ended up deleting emails about the Facebook Ad charges and account compromised information. I later found this in my deleted folders after MANY times of changing my email. I also have a screenshot of this how many attempts/reset passwords were forced. Next, the hackers used that email to log onto my Facebook account. From there, they deleted my email and phone number from my account. I was teaching during the day and hadn't noticed the Facebook hack until it was too late. I reported my account to Facebook, and it was under review for a short while before the hackers had full access to my account. They've used my information to scam my family and friends and are continuing to do so despite MANY reports of scam/fraud abuse.
I have a screenshot of a security email from Facebook confirming the compromise, but I can no longer access the account.
The automated recovery tools won’t let me proceed—even though I’m on a known, frequently used device. Meanwhile, the hacker is using a foreign IP address and posting from my account freely.
I need this escalated to the security team immediately as they are currently scamming people. I can provide all the proof you need. Please help.
