Type of a scam Romance
living in Boston, MA and working for Boston Consulting Group. She texted me using phone number 617-729-8314. In the next couple days, she invited me to join the group trading chat on Telegram App. She further told me her official name is Lin Xiao Min. After I joined the group trading chat on Telegram, I was invited to open trading account at h5.coinmatevip.com, registering the account with my email [email protected] and my phone number 510-303-8814, and setting up wallet with address 0xba909bd6cd78bd9ba9c491d400821ff2bedd003b. I deposited to this wallet
for total of equivalent $330,000 USD, all converted to USDT denomination over span of 3 months from February of 2023. I participated along the group chat members in about 8 option trades over span of 3 months, and by then, the account was showing balance increasing to 1,129,824 USDT. On May 01, 2023, I initiated withdrawal of 200,000 USDT to my crypto.com wallet address, but I was not allowed to withdraw due to some upfront prepayment of tax. I contacted the support chatline at h5.coinmatevip.com and got a reply with the requirement of new fund to pay upfront of $133,000 USD to some wallet address as designated by the support person on the chatline. I was not allowed to use existing balance of my wallet at h5.coinmatevip.com to pre-pay for this tax.
