I was asked to send $990 via email transfer to secure the loan. A few days later I was told that they needed more money but I told them that I didn’t have anymore. That was all I had. He said that he would request a refund. I have been calling him 3 times a day for weeks now...no response.

Patrick continuously told me I would be getting my money deposited directly into my account and then after two days of waiting and having being led astray he told me they would refund my deposit via cheque.
I was told I would receive the cheque on Monday, then Tuesday came and I called and Patrick told me it would come on Wednesday. It is now Friday and I still havent received my money back and now all phone numbers I had for Patrick and the company are not in service or go straight to voicemail. Also, none of my emails to them are being responded to.

The scammer then asked my family member to cancel it and resend the money. They did and It finally worked (sadly). After this the family member was told they would have to put up another 900$ due to a more in depth credit check. I convinced the family member not to go though with it and they didnt send anymore money.
At this point the scammer was doing his best to convince this person that they were not scamming and that the money will be there when they receive the other 900$.The family member then asked the scammer who the credit report was done by and since then the scammer has not responded to emails or calls.
The scammer did mention being affiliated with national bank canada. I contacted them and they responded telling me they are not affiliated with any other companies and that this guy was obviously scamming..I have all emails and money transfer information so does the person who was scammed and is now out 950$. Please any company asking for money to get a loan or a credit card is a scam. Becareful!!
