Jan. 8,2021, Geeks Lane scammed me for $1361.00, hacking into my AOL and telling me I didn't have a firewall (Lie #`). Lie #2, they said they installed a Sonic- Wall Firewall in my computer. Lie #3 the only thing installed by them was probably a virus. Lie #4 - later on Geeks Lane said they installed the firewall "in the system." I assume they were talking about a galactic system. They implicitly threatened to get into my bank account re the check I had sent them. Lie #5 they said they had given me services for 1.5 yrs when their fake invoice was dated just half a year ago. These are real Scammers. Report them to the FBI, Better Business Bureau, Delaware Consumer Protection.

I purchased a TCL Roku smart TV from Target. After setting it up, I initiated the process of activating the Roku application that is included with the television. After entering the activation code provided, there was an error message on the tvs activation screen. It said to complete activation call 855-247-1400. A person answered and explained that a fee was required to continue. After some back and forth he convinced me that to be able to use the Roku features, I needed to pay.

I later checked my credit card account and noticed that a 69.99 RECURRING charge from a company called "GSCSS Geeks Lane", was on the account!

It is apparent to me now that the tv software had obviously been hacked. Maybe even my modem or internet account. I have received a call from someone representing themselves as from the Social Security Administration saying there was suspicious activity on that account. I'm sure that I am now on a "sucker list" for scammers.
