They claim to work for Aflac but during the interview you are told you will not be an employee of Aflac. They make it clear they will not pay you it’s commission only and you will not receive any befits from Aflac. The befits are company trips and to help you make two sale of which you will not receive the full amount and then you are on your own. You will pay for your fingerprints and background checks and other things totaling over $250 but hey they are “helping you make your own business”. They are just trying to make commission off of new hires and set them up to fail just to replace them. It makes them money but the people being interviewed are being scammed into working for them for no pay told they will work over 100 hours given no leads and no pay for their time. I was told that if they “helped us with leads they wouldn’t need us”. Because the scam is to work people without pay and play with peoples work rights to put money in their pockets. The interview was a sob story to make you feel like you would help sick cancer people that it’s an honor to help them. They use manipulation tactics to convince the people they were interviewing to pay and work months with no pay. It was made clear they would use you for the six months of training to get as much money from you as they could then you would leave at that point because it just “wasn’t right for you” it’s a scam how legal it is I don’t know because it is really dancing the line into extremely sketchy. I head a lot of questionable things in that first interview.
